 Below is a list of topics for our Call for Abstracts for Posters. Please use this form to submit an abstract on the topic for which you would like to present. We may be in touch for additional information. 

Those selected for presentation should meet the following guidelines: 

All submissions:

  • Multidisciplinary work is welcomed, but a nurse MUST be part of the project team if not the team leader/PI

  • Abstracts submitted should not exceed 500 words, 11-point font, 1-inch margins

  • Prefer original work, but poster may have been presented once previously. Project work presented must be no older than January 2017

  • Completed studies/projects will be considered for poster presentation

  • Works-in-progress may be submitted for poster presentation

  • All submissions should include the following material based on category of work:

    • Quality Improvement/Evidence-Based Practice: Background and Significance, PICO Question (if applicable), Quality Improvement/EBP/Implementation Plan, Results, Conclusions, Further Study, References, Funding, Acknowledgements

    • Primary Research: Background and Significance, Purpose/Aims, Design, Methods, Analysis, Findings, Conclusions, Further Study, References, Funding, Acknowledgements

    • Secondary Research: Background and Significance, Purpose/Aims/PICO Question (if applicable), Design, Methods, Analysis, Findings, Conclusions, Further Study, References, Funding, Acknowledgements

    • Innovation: Background and Significance, Goal, Team, Process, Results, Conclusions, Further Study, References, Funding, Acknowledgements

Poster presentation submissions:

  • Preferred poster size is 36” x 48” (landscape)

  • Please plan to be available with your poster during poster viewing sessions

  • Please plan to have your poster available for both days of the conference

Please submit this form by December 5th, 2019.

  • Proofread poster abstracts carefully to avoid errors prior to submission

  • Submission of a poster abstract constitutes a commitment by the author(s) to present if accepted

  • There is no limit to the number of abstracts one may submit· Incomplete submissions may not be processed

Posters selected for presentation will be judged, with top-scoring posters in each category awarded special recognition. All participants whose posters are accepted for presentation will also receive tickets for raffle prizes.  

Selected poster authors will be notified by December 19th, 2019.

  • Conference Registration: The primary abstract presenter must register for the conference by January 6th, 2020

  • Accepted abstracts will receive 10% off their conference registration

  • Additional costs associated with conference attendance and presentation will be the responsibility of the presenter
